The world is constantly changing. That might benefit us, or it may not. But whatever happens, we'll find a way to survive. The same goes to animals. They'll do the same thing we'll do: try to survive. Eventually, all the ice on Antarctica will melt (due to global warming) if we don't act. Even forests can disappear due to mass deforestation without replacing trees, if we don't change our ways. But if we don't make amends to our wrong doings, animals will be in serious danger. And if we don't do that, animals are going to have to find a way to survive, and fast.
Time is ticking for these animals to survive. An example is the black panther. This species lives in parts of Asia, Africa, and America and is determined as threatened by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN). These creatures play, hunt, and swim in the water, and inhabit swamps and forests. The black panther's biggest enemy is not an animal, it's us. WE are the ones that pollute the water and air for panthers, we are the ones that are causing global warming, and we are the ones that are destroying their habitat. If we continue to do this, their only hope of surviving is to adapt, and even evolve, thus creating a new species completely different from it's ancestors.
Panthers are facing habitat loss and warmer temperatures as the years go by, but they still enjoy staying in the water, causing them to spend more time in the water than on land to cool themselves and to avoid humans. Just to prove the point, panthers have problems giving birth when they know humans are close to them. When the panther's prey begins to disappear (on land), they begin to eat fish, crabs, and the few remaining land animals. To catch fish that swim fast, the panther develops padded feet in order to swim faster, thus getting the name "Padded Panther." The Padded Panther will most likely live on shores of rivers or swamps and can walk on land, but prefers to stay in the water.
If scientists and us humans find a way to prevent global warming, the panther might revert or evolve back into it's original species. If this does not happen, the black panther will have to leave it's shore or riverside home and venture into the ocean, eventually. As panthers go into the ocean, their species will become more like family rather than living a solitary life. They also will develop tail fins and flippers to move even more smoothly in the water than ever before. They live in the top 200 feet of the ocean and live in the tropical waters, like near Brazil, Africa, Australia, Central America, Puerto Rico, Bahamas, and any other tropical area. These animals feast on large fishes and small whales

Animals adapt; they do it for their own good. For example, the dinosaurs evolved into birds, and that change took time, but they are still considered "living dinosaurs." My point is, animals don't give, just like us. They always try, until the very end.
