The Panda and how it may change over time
We are researching Pandas. My group is predicting that a Panda will turn into a wolf like creature in 200,000
years. Pandas and wolfs look nothing alike but their bone structures are very similar. In Asia, a huge chemical reaction occurred. Chemicals effected the genes of the pandas, causing mutations. Then, the pandas started to transform into wolf like creatures over time. While this was happening, the panda was moving east because of the moving continents. As the panda moved, the panda got slimmer. Because of the chemicals and moving, the panda looked very similar to a wolf. The genes and DNA are completely different, on the outside they look very similar. Our research says that according to fossil records, the panda has existed for 8-9 million years. Their sizes were only one quarter as big as the Giant Pandas today. We predict that the panda will look a lot like how they used to millions of years ago in 200,000 years. We call this creature a palf. |
