Evolution Prediction:
We believe that the Komodo Dragon will evolve bigger, have longer legs, and increased lung capacity. There are a few reasons we think this. Global warming will cause water levels to rise and the Komodo Dragons will have to adapt to their new environment.they may have to spend a large portion of there lives in the water. being in their new water habitat, they will need the ability to swim better underwater for long periods and increased lung capacity would allow them to do so. Finally, evolving into a large reptile would mean less threat from predators on both land and sea.

Speciation:
Seperation: First global warming will make sea levels rise and flood the Lesser Sunda Islands and some Komodos will be stuck on small islands in the ocean.
Adaptation: The Komodos stranded on the islands will adapt to the new environment by evolving longer legs, bigger lungs, and become bigger overall. These adaptations will make it easier for them to survive in the water where most of there food is.
Division: After a few millenia, the Ice Caps will freeze over again and sea levels will lower. This will allow the water Komodos to move back to the bigger islands. When they get there, they will discover the other Komodos that haven't adapted that much. Now they are different species and can't mate or produce fertile of offspring anymore.
